Description

The baking is simple and quick. For those who don't have any special ingredients at home but still want to surprise guests with something delicate and delicious, this coconut cake recipe for a multicooker will be a real lifesaver. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Step 1

Pour a glass of kefir into a bowl where you will prepare the dough. Add a glass of sugar, vanilla, and mix thoroughly. Then add one egg and beat with a fork or whisk.

    Step 2

Next, add 300 g of flour and baking powder. Knead the dough, mixing from top to bottom. By the way, it is recommended to add the baking powder directly to the flour and only then mix everything together. This will allow the baking powder to blend thoroughly into the dough and prevent a bitter taste in the finished baked goods.

    Step 3

    Step 3

Grease the inner pot of the multicooker with vegetable oil. It is recommended to grease not only the bottom of the pot, but also its sides. Place the prepared dough into the multicooker pot and carefully smooth it out with a spatula.

    Step 4

    Step 4

Mix the sugar and coconut flakes and sprinkle the mixture over the mass.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Close the multicooker lid tightly and select the "Baking" mode, setting the time to 65 minutes. About 15 minutes before the end, you can brush the cake with some syrup to make it more tender. After 65 minutes, a sound signal will indicate that the baking is complete. You need to check if the cake is fully baked. For this, you can use a matchstick or toothpick. Insert the stick into the cake and pull it out. If there are any traces of raw dough on it, select the "Baking" mode again and continue baking for another 10–15 minutes. If the cake is fully baked, leave it in the multicooker for about 10 minutes to cool slightly.
