Prepare the ingredients listed. Choose instant coffee of your favourite variety.

Place cottage cheese of any fat content in a deep container, add salt and granulated sugar. Crack in a chicken egg and mix thoroughly.

Add instant coffee without brewing it in boiling water. Mix everything together again.

Add 2 tbsp wheat flour and work it into the cottage cheese mixture. Tip the remaining flour onto a plate for coating the syrniki.
