Beef Knels
Description
Let's prepare beef quenelles at home. These light patties go well with almost any side dish. Although I prefer to eat them with mashed potatoes as a side. Leftover quenelles can be frozen in the refrigerator by placing them under plastic wrap. Good luck with your cooking!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Pass the beef through a meat grinder (twice), add salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, and egg yolk. Mix well.
- 2
Step 2

Add the egg white, beaten to a stiff foam. Mix once again.
- 3
Step 3

Chop the herbs and add to the meat mixture, mix well.
- 4
Step 4

With wet hands, shape the mixture into small patty-like balls. Place them into a saucepan greased with margarine.
- 5
Step 5

Pour hot water over the quenelles (about halfway). Salt the water, bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes.

Step 6

That's it, the quenelles are ready!
