
Strawberry frozen yogurt
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's hard to find someone who doesn't like strawberries and anything made from them. Try making frozen yogurt just once, and it will become your favorite treat. The recipe is simple and straightforward; the only "but" is that preparation is a time-consuming process. Serve chilled.

1. Place finely chopped strawberries, zest, sugar, lemon juice, and rum into a bowl, mix well, cover with a lid, and let the strawberries marinate at room temperature for 1 hour.

2. Carefully transfer the mixture along with the released juice into a food processor, add vanilla and yogurt, and blend until smooth. Chill the resulting berry mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Beat the chilled mixture until foamy for 12–15 minutes (it should increase in volume), then immediately pour it into a container for ice cream and place it in the freezer at a temperature no higher than -16 degrees Celsius. After 24 hours, the amazingly delicious frozen strawberry yogurt is ready to be served.
