Description
The recipe won't take much time. Strawberry compote is very simple and quick to prepare. You can serve it warm, or chill it and add ice. It's delicious either way.

1. Prepare the ingredients for the compote.

2. Sort the strawberries, discarding spoiled and rotten berries, which are not suitable for compote; remove the stems and wash the berries.

3. Put sugar and strawberries into cold water.

4. Bring to a boil, simmer for just a minute, and as soon as the strawberries release their color, turn off the heat.

5. Let the compote steep and cool. Done!
