Strawberry jam with gelatin
Description
Wonderful strawberry jam is not that difficult to make. Wash the strawberries and divide them into softer and firmer ones – roughly half and half. Put the soft strawberries with a kilogram of sugar into a pot and puree with an immersion blender. Then add the remaining strawberries and gelatin. Bring to a boil and turn off. After an hour, bring to a boil again, add the remaining sugar, simmer for 5–7 minutes, and seal in sterilized jars. It’s that simple. Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.
