Strawberry Marshmallow
Description
The recipe won't take much time. My family loves strawberries very much—we eat them both fresh and in various desserts. From slightly crushed or small strawberries, I like to make fruit leather. Strawberry fruit leather is a delicious treat enjoyed by both adults and children. Most importantly, it's a natural treat—you don't have to worry about harmful dyes or preservatives. Plus, the recipe is simple. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Remove the stems from the strawberries and discard any damaged berries. Place the strawberries in a colander and rinse thoroughly.
- 3
Step 3

Purée the strawberries in a blender or food processor until smooth. If the strawberries are too tart, you can add a little sugar or honey to taste.
- 4
Step 4

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour the strawberry purée onto it, spreading it into a layer 7-10 mm thick. Turn the oven on to the lowest temperature, place the baking sheet at the highest rack position inside, and dry the fruit leather for 3-5 hours with the oven door slightly ajar. If you have a food dehydrator, the process will be much easier and faster, but an oven works perfectly well too. The key is to dry, not bake, the fruit leather, so the temperature must be very low.

Cut the finished pastila into strips 5-7 cm wide. Remove the parchment paper and roll the pastila into small rolls.

Strawberry marshmallow is ready!
