Cranberry sauce for turkey
Description
Minimal ingredients — excellent result. If you order turkey in Europe, it will always be served with cranberry sauce. I've adopted this tradition and now constantly make this sauce for turkey, especially since it takes no more than 15-20 minutes to prepare. While the turkey is roasting, you can easily make the cranberry sauce at the same time. Here's how to cook it: 1. Take a small saucepan (or sauce pot). Pour in the citrus juices (lemon and orange) and add honey. Place on the stove and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes, but do not bring to a boil. The liquid should just be warmed through. 2. Add washed cranberries. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3. Then add salt and pepper, stir, and cook for another 5 minutes. 4. Finally, add orange zest to the saucepan. Stir, cook for no more than 2 minutes, then remove from heat. That's it—your cranberry sauce for turkey is ready. It's best served warm. Store in the refrigerator and serve with meals.
