Cranberry kissel from frozen berries
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. If you enjoy aromatic and spicy beverages, you might like this slightly improved version of the kissel. When the water in the pot begins to boil, add a cinnamon stick and a few cloves. In this case, it's better to replace sugar with honey. This kissel can be consumed warm as a tonic, and even as a remedy for colds. Serve warm.
Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the frozen cranberries under cold water and place them in a blender container. Let the berries thaw slightly for about 20 minutes. Then blend them into a puree using the blender. Be careful during this process to prevent cranberry juice from splashing onto clothes or any surface.

Step 2

Take a piece of gauze and fold it in half. Use it to squeeze the cranberry juice into a separate container. Transfer the remaining pulp left in the gauze into a saucepan and pour in one liter of clean water. Place the saucepan over medium heat.

Step 3

The berry juice should be heated until it comes to a boil. When the water boils, add a tablespoon of granulated sugar. Stirring the juice with a spoon, wait until the sugar dissolves completely.

Step 4

In principle, at this stage, the morse can already be strained and considered ready. But I prefer to make it more intense. So I take the strained cranberry juice and add about 1/3 of the total volume back into the saucepan. Once the morse has cooled down, it's ready to drink.
