Cranberry kissel without cooking
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. I'll be making the morse from frozen berries, but if you have the chance, feel free to use fresh ones. Thanks to minimal heat treatment, all the vitamins and beneficial properties of these berries are preserved in this recipe. Ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

If you also have frozen cranberries, before starting to prepare the morse, transfer them to a separate container and leave at room temperature for some time until the berries become soft.
- 3
Step 3

Then, using a potato masher, crush the berries as much as possible (to release the cranberry juice).
- 4
Step 4

Strain the cranberry juice and pour it into a bowl, and transfer the remaining berries into a saucepan.
- 5
Step 5

Pour the required amount of water over the cranberries.
- 6
Step 6

Place the pot on the stove and add sugar to the warming water according to your taste. Stir the sugar until dissolved and bring the water almost to a boil, then immediately turn off the heat.
- 7
Step 7

Strain the cranberry decoction through a sieve, and rub the berries on the sieve with a spoon. Add the strained decoction to the juice from the bowl and mix well. Adjust the taste of the morse, adding more sweetness if necessary. The no-cook cranberry morse is ready to drink, but it's better to chill it in the refrigerator. Pour the morse into a suitable container; it can be stored for up to 3 days.
