Description
Making dumplings according to this recipe is quite easy and simple, and all the necessary ingredients are always on hand. Dumplings can be served with soup, used as a side dish, or enjoyed as a complete dish on their own. Fry the cooked dumplings with onions or minced meat, and you'll have a hearty, satisfying meal for the whole family.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Combine flour and salt.

Add kefir, butter, and egg.

Knead a soft dough that does not stick to your hands. Cover it with a towel and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.

Then cut off a piece of dough, roll it out, and cut it into small pieces (keep in mind that the dumplings will expand during cooking). Make a small indentation in the center of each piece. You can use your finger or any suitable object for this. I use the back of a honey spoon. Shape all the dumplings this way.

Boil the ready-made dumplings in salted water until cooked. Depending on their size, this may take from 10 to 20 minutes.
