Instructions
- 1
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper (you can use a silicone baking mat).
- 2
Step 2
Beat the butter and white sugar. To do this, place the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl and beat with a mixer. Mix the ingredients until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. It should stick to the sides of the bowl.
- 3
Step 3
Add the egg and continue beating.
- 4
Step 4
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix at low speed until the dry ingredients are mostly combined. Then you can increase the speed.
- 5
Step 5
Chill the prepared dough in the refrigerator (leave for one hour or overnight).
- 6
Step 6
Start shaping the cookies. Pinch off a piece of dough. Roll it between your palms to form a ball about 3-4 cm in diameter, or the size of a ping-pong ball.
- 7
Step 7
Shape the cookies (you can use any molds or a glass).
- 8
Step 8
Dip the top of each semi-finished product into brown sugar and place on a baking sheet, leaving about 5 centimeters of space between them.
- 9
Step 9
Bake the cookies at 190°C for 11–13 minutes (until the edges of the cookies turn golden brown).
