1. Without elegant tall champagne flutes, the Kir Cointreau cocktail won't look truly luxurious, so choose the glasses in advance.

2. All components of the royal cocktail must be chilled beforehand.

3. Peel a large ripe pomegranate, remove about a dozen seeds and drop them into the bottom of the glass.
