
Classic American burger
Description

Add salt, pepper, 2/3 of a finely chopped onion, minced garlic, and egg yolk to the ground beef. Mix thoroughly.

Divide the ground meat into 4–5 portions and shape each into a flat round patty. Make a small indentation in the center with your thumb.

Place the cutlets on a flat plate and refrigerate for about 20 minutes.

And now let's fry the burger patties well in vegetable oil until cooked through. You can bake them in the oven at 180°C or cook them on the grill.

Cut the burger buns in half and toast on a grill, dry skillet, or in a toaster.

Spread ketchup on one half of the bun and mustard or mustard sauce on the other.

Thoroughly wash the lettuce leaves, then dry them. Place the lettuce leaves on the bottom half of the bun, and on top — slices of pickled cucumber.
