1. Prepare all the ingredients.

2. Mix the room-temperature margarine with flour until crumbly. Then add sour cream and baking soda, and knead the dough.

3. The dough will have an elastic and firm consistency. Place it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so the margarine firms up slightly.

4. Divide the dough into equal parts and roll each part into a thin sheet. It should be very thin. Place the filling—jam—on top.

5. Roll up the croissants and place them on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 25 minutes.
