
Classic croissants
Description
Try making classic crescent rolls using my recipe. Your family will definitely appreciate this treat and ask for seconds. The baking is ready. Serve at the table.

Take the frozen puff pastry, open the package, and lay the sheets apart from each other so they become slightly softened, then cut them with a pizza cutter into triangles.

Take butter.

Melt it for 15–20 seconds in the microwave.

Brush the sliced dough with melted butter.

Take granulated sugar.

Sprinkle the buttered dough with sugar.

Roll the triangles from the wide edge to the narrow edge.

Take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper or tracing paper.

Transfer our crescent rolls onto a baking sheet. For two packs of dough, you need two baking sheets.

Brush the croissants with butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Leave for about 10 minutes on the counter so that the dough rises. Then bake in the oven at 200‑220 °C for 40 minutes.

After 40 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and take off the croissants. While the croissants have not cooled, it is not advisable to stack them on top of each other.
