
Chinese dumplings

The recipe won't take much time. Chinese dumplings can be made in advance and frozen. This dish is versatile and perfect for those who are always short on time. The dough is easy to make, use a meat grinder for the filling, and whether to boil or fry them—let your mood decide. Good luck! Serve hot.

1. Chop the cabbage. Wash, dry, and slice the scallions. Prepare minced ginger and garlic. Peel and wash the shrimp.

2. Grind the pork and shrimp into a mince and place in a bowl. Add chopped vegetables and herbs, salt, white pepper, sesame oil, and vegetable oil to the bowl.

3. Mix the minced meat thoroughly by hand.

4. Sift the flour into a bowl, mix with water and knead the dough. Roll the dough into a sausage shape and cut it into equal pieces. Roll each piece in flour, then shape it into a ball. Roll each ball out thinly. Place a teaspoon (or more) of filling in the center of the resulting flat disc.

5. Seal the edges of the dumplings well. Chinese dumplings can be fried, boiled, or steamed. We will fry them. To do this, pour a little vegetable oil into a frying pan, heat over medium heat, then place the dumplings in the pan. Fry for 2 minutes, then pour in half a cup of water and cover with a lid. Once the water has evaporated, the dumplings are ready. The method is extreme, but it's worth a try :)

6. Serve Chinese dumplings on a cabbage leaf with soy sauce.
