
Chinese steamed buns
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. Chinese steamed buns are very easy and relatively quick to make. In texture they are very similar to Czech dumplings. A bread-like, tender, fluffy crumb without a crust. In addition to green onion, you can sprinkle the dough with any spices of your choice. The buns will become piquant and aromatic. Serve them with soups, broths, tea, coffee.

Pour warm water into a bowl. Add the yeast, sugar, and two tablespoons of sunflower oil.

Add the salt and sifted flour.

Knead a soft, non‑sticky dough.

Place the dough in a warm place until it increases in volume.

After that, knead the dough and roll it out into a sheet. Brush with vegetable oil.
