Wipe the chanterelles with a damp cloth to remove dirt, then slice the large mushrooms and leave the small ones whole. Fry the chanterelles together with the onion over medium heat until golden brown.

Transfer the chanterelles into a bowl, add grated cheese and sliced green onions.

In a blender, blend the tofu, nutritional yeast, vegan mayonnaise, salt, and water until smooth.
