Broccoli Quiche in a Multicooker
Description
The baked goods are easy and quick to make. Quiche is quite simple to prepare. Thin, crisp pastry and a juicy filling with broccoli, chicken, and fried onion. Such a bake won’t leave anyone cold. Delicious warm or cold. As for cooking quiche in a multicooker, this method is very handy in summer heat: unlike an oven, a multicooker hardly heats up your kitchen. You can serve it with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for making broccoli quiche.
- 2
Step 2

Combine soft butter with the flour. Mix with a fork until it forms crumbs. You can also do this in a blender or food processor.
- 3
Step 3

Add a couple of pinches of salt and ice-cold water. Knead the dough until it no longer sticks to your hands. Wrap in cling film and chill for 15–20 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

While the dough rests, prepare the quiche filling. Peel the yellow onion, wash it and chop finely. Place it in a pan with vegetable oil and fry until lightly browned.
- 5
Step 5

Wash the chicken fillet, dice it not too coarsely. Put it in the skillet and fry until done.
- 6
Step 6

To make it easy to remove the quiche from the multicooker bowl, lay two long strips of parchment paper inside it, as shown in the photo.
- 7
Step 7

The diameter of my bowl is 20 centimeters. Roll out the dough into a circle and place it on the bottom of the multicooker, forming the sides. Prick the dough with a fork.
- 8
Step 8

Place the fried onion with chicken on the dough.
- 9
Step 9

If you have fresh broccoli, boil it until tender beforehand, cool, and chop it. Frozen broccoli should be thawed. Spread it on the dough. Finely dice a small tomato and add it to the filling as well.
- 10
Step 10

Prepare the custard mixture. Whisk the eggs with milk and salt.
- 11
Step 11

Pour the topping over the filling.
- 12
Step 12

Bake the pie in a multicooker on the “Baking” setting for 60–70 minutes.
- 13
Step 13

Remove the finished quiche from the multicooker, slice it, and serve.
