Fruit and berry jelly
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. When chilled, the kissel is very similar to jelly, especially if you've added a generous amount of potato starch. Yes, the secret of kissel lies precisely in the starch. It is thanks to starch that kissel achieves the desired thickness.
Instructions

Step 1

We will need potato starch. Without it, the kissel isn't kissel. Dilute the starch in cold water. Mix thoroughly until you get a smooth, milky consistency.

Step 2

Rinse the fruit and berry mixture. I used a frozen one. Place it in a saucepan with water and bring to a boil. Add sugar. Pour in the starch-thickened water and simmer for 10-15 minutes over low heat.

Step 3

It will take us an hour at most, even a little less. Pour the ready jelly into bowls or mugs, whichever you prefer. You can serve it hot if it's cold outside—it warms you up perfectly and provides vitamins. In hot weather, it's better to cool it down. Then this jelly refreshes wonderfully. That's its magical property.
