Jelly from powder
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Making jelly from ready-made powder is very easy, but not that exciting. I suggest a recipe for jelly with fresh cherries using ready-made powder; how to prepare it is described in detail in the step-by-step instructions.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Pour water into a saucepan, place over heat, and when the water comes to a boil, add the cherries and cook for about 7-10 minutes from the moment it starts boiling.
- 3
Step 3

Strain through a sieve, pressing the cherries with a silicone spatula to leave the pits on the sieve.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the strained berry juice back into the saucepan.
- 5
Step 5

Grind the jelly if it has hardened in the packet. A standard packet is designed for 1 sheet of jelly per 2.5 liters of drink in a pot, so add extra starch to the jelly powder at a rate of 3-4 tablespoons per liter of water.
- 6
Step 6

Pour a glass of water into the powder and mix well to avoid lumps.
- 7
Step 7

Pour the powder-starch solution into the morse while constantly stirring; initially, the kissel will be slightly cloudy—do not be alarmed. Bring to a boil.
- 8
Step 8

Add granulated sugar to taste after the kissel has come to a boil and becomes clear again.
- 9
Step 9

The jelly needs to be cooled, after which it can be served. It turned out bright, beautiful, and very tasty.
