Strain through a fine sieve, squeezing the soaked flakes. 3. Add milk to the resulting liquid and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. 4. Add butter, stir well, and pour into bowls. This kissel can be enjoyed either warm or cold.
