Custard for a 1-year-old child
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's best to prepare jelly for young children using homemade jam. It contains plenty of vitamins and no preservatives. You can use blackcurrant, cherry, strawberry, or any other berry jam. There's no need to add sugar, as the jam is sweet enough on its own. To find out if it's ready, serve.
Instructions

Step 1

Pour clean drinking water into a pot or a bowl with high sides. Then open the jar of berry jam and pour it into the bowl with water. Mix thoroughly.
- 2
Step 2

Using an immersion blender, blend all the contents of the bowl or pot until a smooth mixture is obtained.
- 3
Step 3

Take a fine-mesh sieve and strain all the contents of the pot through it. The resulting mixture should not contain any seeds or berry skins.
- 4
Step 4

Place the resulting liquid in a saucepan on the stove and turn on low heat. Bring the liquid to a boil, then add a pinch of citric acid.

Step 5

Take a glass or bowl. Pour a small amount of clean water into it and add five tablespoons of starch. Mix thoroughly until the starch is completely dissolved.

Step 6

While the kissel is boiling, slowly pour the starch diluted with water into the saucepan in a thin stream, stirring the contents of the saucepan continuously. Wait until the kissel comes to a boil, then immediately remove it from the heat. Let it cool and serve.
