Rustic crescent rolls
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. Today I want to offer you a recipe originating from Austrian cuisine, but with a Zakarpattia twist. They are very simple and quick to make; use a thick jam of your choice. You can also add some fresh berries or dried fruits to the jam. The dough should be kneaded quickly—it must be soft, not sticky, but also not dense. If it's too sticky, add a bit more flour; if too dense, add some sour cream. You can also prepare the dough the night before and keep it in the refrigerator overnight. If the dough becomes too firm, let it sit at room temperature for a while to soften. Dust the top with powdered sugar or a mixture of cocoa and powdered sugar. The easiest way to do this is with a sieve. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
