Description

The sauce takes just a few minutes to prepare. This homemade preparation won't sit idle for long. Store-bought ketchup can never replace the one you make with love. Aromatic, juicy, and ripe tomatoes make the perfect base for ketchup. In addition to tomatoes, we'll add apples, onion, salt, sugar, and vinegar to the ketchup. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

    Prepare the ingredients.

    Wash and dry the tomatoes, then cut them into small slices. Remove the stem attachment area.

    Peel the apples and cut them into slices. Peel the onion and cut it into small pieces.

    Transfer the apples, tomatoes, and onion to the blender container, and blend everything at high speed.

    Transfer the chopped mixture to a saucepan, add salt and sugar to taste.

    Simmer the ketchup for 1.5 hours over low heat.
