Ricotta Muffins
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. Ricotta is a young Italian cheese. Thanks to its rich cream content, it has a more delicate texture and a creamier flavor than regular cottage cheese. Muffins made with ricotta turn out very tender and delicious, with large pores. If you don’t have ricotta, you can replace it with cottage cheese, but it should be very high in fat. You can also use sweet cheese curd mass that contains butter and cream, but in that case you should reduce the amount of sugar, since the cheese mass already contains it. Can also be served with tea or coffee.
