Cake in a multicooker
Description
This spicy nutty honey cake fits perfectly into a holiday menu and pairs wonderfully with mulled wine or ginger tea for Christmas or New Year's. To prepare the cake in a Panasonic multicooker, you'll need two types of flour (rye and wheat), honey (not too runny), and any nuts (I used walnuts). For dried fruits, dried berries (such as lingonberries) work great, as well as raisins or apricots. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

In a small saucepan, heat the milk, dissolve the honey in it, but do not boil; cook and stir over low heat.
- 2
Step 2

Preheat the nuts in the oven (or toast them). Then grind them in a blender. Sift both flours, add the nuts, baking powder, zest of one lemon and one orange, spices, and seasonings.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the cooled milk with honey into the dry flour mixture, stir.
- 4
Step 4

Beat the egg into the dough and knead it thoroughly.
- 5
Step 5

Add candied fruits or dried fruits to taste.
- 6
Step 6

Evenly place the dough into the multicooker bowl and set the "Baking" mode for one hour. After the signal, carefully flip the cake over and set the "Baking" mode again for 25 minutes. While the cake is baking, you can prepare the glaze or chocolate topping for decoration. Let the finished cake cool down in the Panasonic multicooker, then slice it into portions and serve with tea.
