Apple cake in a bread maker
Description
The baking is simple and quick. It turns out that cupcakes can be made not only in the oven. A bread maker copes with this task perfectly, even without a specific "Cake" setting. For example, you can first select the "Dough" program, then the "Baking" program, adjusting the time manually. This is convenient if your bread maker has a viewing window. The result is a very tasty apple cake made in a bread maker. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Melt the butter. I usually do this in the microwave. The order of adding ingredients to the bread machine pan is arbitrary.
- 2
Step 2

2. The only thing we need to do manually is to beat the eggs. This can be done with a mixer or a whisk. Then add them to the bread maker bowl.

Step 3

3. Add the peeled and sliced apple. It's better to choose sour varieties — they pair perfectly with the sweet dough.
- 4
Step 4

4. Add flour, sugar, vanilla, raisins, and salt. Instead of apple, you can use candied fruits or any other fruits to taste.

Step 5

5. If your bread machine has a "Cake" setting, choose it. My machine takes almost 3 hours to bake a cake using this program. If you need to shorten the time, select the "Sweet Bread" or "Dough" setting, followed by "Bake" (you'll save one hour). Accordingly, each of these programs bakes differently, and the dough structure will also differ in the finished product.

Step 6

6. The "Cake" mode is great for baking yeast-based dough, as after kneading, the dough rises in warmth for some time, and only then gradually bakes.

Step 7

7. After baking in my bread machine, the cake will continue to rise for another hour in a warm place. If you need to remove it sooner, press "Stop" and take out the baked goods after some time. Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with condensed milk or jam (in this case, add less sugar to the batter).
