Apple Puree Cake
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Note one nuance: be sure to stick to the specified amount of puree. If you use a little more, you should increase the baking time and the cake’s texture will be moister than with the specified amount. The bake is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the apples, remove the core. Cut them into small pieces, place them in a bowl and put them in the microwave. At maximum power, bake for 4 minutes until softened.
- 3
Step 3

Blend the cooked apples into a puree using an immersion blender. Cool. The yield of the required apple puree is 200–210 g.
- 4
Step 4

In a separate bowl, combine the egg and sugar.
- 5
Step 5

Whisk into a fluffy, white foam. Add apple purée, vegetable oil. Whisk again.
- 6
Step 6

Add the flour and the leavening agent for the dough. Mix everything on low speed with a mixer.
- 7
Step 7

The dough should turn out light and airy.
- 8
Step 8

Take a rectangular pan and line it with paper. Visually divide the dough into three parts. Place one‑third of the dough into the pan. Sift cinnamon over the top. The thickness of the layer depends on your preference. The thicker it is, the more pronounced it will be in the finished cake.
- 9
Step 9

Spread another one‑third of the dough over the cinnamon and smooth it gently, taking care not to damage the cinnamon layer.
- 10
Step 10

Again, sift through a sieve and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- 11
Step 11

Spread the remaining batter. Place the cake to bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40‑45 minutes.
- 12
Step 12

Remove the finished cake from the oven.
- 13
Step 13

Transfer to a board or plate, chill. Then, if desired, dust with powdered sugar.
