Cake with syrup
Description
It pairs perfectly with tea and coffee. A loaf cake with syrup is as easy to make as many other cakes. The only difference is that you need to make the syrup and soak the cake with it. The syrup can be anything you prefer: plain sugar, berry, or fruit. Mine is orange. I think it’s the best choice. First, oranges are sold year-round. Second, both the juice and the zest of this citrus go into the batter, making the bake wonderfully fragrant and delicious. I assure you this chocolate-orange cake will charm your household and guests. Serve it cooled or slightly warm.
