Sicilian Orange Cake
Description
The baking is simple and quick. Orange muffins are no longer surprising anyone, but with Sicilian ones you can certainly give it a try :) The main emphasis is, of course, on the glaze color. It turns out bright, juicy, and wonderfully complements the soft and tasty muffin. If you use equipment for mixing the batter and squeezing the juice, the process can rightfully be called extremely easy. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

1. First, squeeze the juice from Sicilian oranges. Use 1 cup of juice for the glaze, and the rest for the batter. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.

Step 2

2. Beat softened butter with sugar until fluffy. Combine sifted wheat flour with almond flour and add salt. Separately, mix milk, orange juice, almond extract, and vanilla extract.

4. Then add the liquid and dry ingredients, continuing to beat. For a more intense flavor, I recommend also adding orange zest.
