Perfectly complements tea and coffee. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Before making the chocolate cake, bring the eggs, sour cream, and butter to room temperature. Place the eggs in a blender and beat until fluffy. Gradually pour in the sour cream in a thin stream to avoid deflating the foam.

Step 2

2. Sift the flour and mix with cocoa. Add to the batter in small portions. The resulting batter should have a consistency similar to whipped sour cream. Add baking soda (neutralized with vinegar or lemon juice) or baking powder according to your preference.

Step 3

3. Preheat the oven. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and grease it with a layer of butter. Bake the dessert for an hour at a temperature of about 180 degrees. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer—it should come out dry after piercing the dessert. Remove the dessert from the oven.

Step 4

4. Cut out a shape from paper to decorate the cupcake. Place it on top of the dessert once it has completely cooled. Dust with powdered sugar. After removing the paper, you'll have a design on top of the cupcake.
