Chocolate cake with a liquid chocolate center
Description
If you love chocolate as much as I do, you probably couldn't resist this amazing dessert. Fragrant cupcakes with a gooey chocolate center, topped with a scoop of cold ice cream—your mood will be perfect no matter the weather. The cupcake recipe is very simple and requires few ingredients, but since ovens vary, you might need to experiment a bit with the baking settings. Shall we get started? :) Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Place the chocolate and butter in a double boiler and let it melt.
- 2
Step 2

Meanwhile, beat the eggs with sugar.
- 3
Step 3

Beat until thick foam forms; it should lighten in color.
- 4
Step 4

We cool the chocolate melted with butter; the mixture should not be hot. Then we pour the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
- 5
Step 5

Mix thoroughly until uniform.
- 6
Step 6

Now add the flour and salt.
- 7
Step 7

And stir thoroughly to avoid lumps.
- 8
Step 8

Grease the cupcake molds with melted butter and fill them with the resulting batter to about 80%.
- 9
Step 9

And bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 9–11 minutes. If you're baking for the first time, try baking one muffin first to see how it turns out in your oven.
- 10
Step 10

The finished cupcakes should cool in the pan for several minutes, then on a wire rack. Serve them while still warm, so the liquid chocolate "lava" inside doesn't solidify.
