Prune cake
Description
The baked goods are easy and quick to make. In our family, prune cake has been a staple on dessert tables for over ten years. When we don’t feel like getting creative or experimenting, we bake this simple but still quite tasty prune cake. It goes beautifully with tea, coffee, or milk. A weekday sweet to go with lunch or dinner. Can be served with tea or coffee.

Step 1
Begin making the dough. Cream the butter with the sugar until it is pale, white, and fluffy.

Add three eggs to the oil mixture and mix well.

Sift a cup of flour and a tablespoon of baking powder into the same bowl. Mix the dough until the lumps disappear.

Mix the icing sugar and half a cup of flour, then roll the washed and dried prunes in this mixture.

Line a baking tin with parchment paper. Pour half the batter into the tin, add the prunes, then pour over the remaining half of the batter.

Bake our prune cake for 45 minutes at 180°. Done!
