Porter Cake
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This type of cake always includes a generous amount of dried fruits (preferably a variety), and you can also add nuts or candied fruits. Don't worry about using alcohol—the cake is completely safe for children, and the beer simply gives it the right consistency. The finished cake can be dusted with powdered sugar or topped with icing. It can be served with tea or coffee.
