Kefir Cherry Cake
Description
Homemade baking for tea. An aromatic, tender, fluffy, airy kefir cake with cherries will make an excellent finish to lunch or dinner. You can use kefir of any fat content. If you don’t have baking powder, a level teaspoon of baking soda works fine, and you don’t need to neutralize it with vinegar because kefir already contains lactic acid. Store the cake in a container with a lid. It will stay fresh for 4–5 days. It can be served with tea or coffee.
