Yeast dough cake
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. Here's a simple recipe for a yeast-based cake. This dough is ideal for baking cakes, as it rises very well, resulting in a beautifully fluffy texture. You can buy ready-made glaze (like I did) or prepare it yourself using simple ingredients: egg white, sugar, and salt. Good luck! Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sift the flour into a bowl. Add sugar, vanilla, and yeast.
- 2
Step 2

Pour in warm milk, add eggs and melted margarine. Begin kneading, adding raisins to the dough.
- 3
Step 3

After kneading the dough, cover it with a towel and place in a warm spot to rise for about 1 hour.
- 4
Step 4

Transfer the dough to a baking dish previously greased with vegetable oil. Let it rise a little longer in a warm place.
- 5
Step 5

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Check for doneness with a toothpick. Simply pierce the cake; if the toothpick comes out dry, the cake is ready! Remove it from the mold and let it cool.
- 6
Step 6

Let's prepare the icing. Open the package of confectioners' glaze and mix it with 4 tablespoons of water until smooth.
- 7
Step 7

Cover the "top" of the cupcake with icing and leave to set.
- 8
Step 8

Ready. Serve at the table.
