Cake pops
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. This beautiful, tasty, and colorful dessert for kids was invented in America and quickly became popular. Making it is very easy. This recipe provides two methods for preparing cake pops: one using a special pan for baking small round cupcakes, and another for those who don't have such a pan. I'll be honest: the second version—using sponge cake and condensed milk—is more popular with everyone. Instead of sponge cake, you can use any cookies, and instead of condensed milk, any cream you prefer. You can add chopped nuts or coconut flakes to the mixture—you know what your child likes. Preparation is complete. The ready dessert can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Melt the butter and add sugar to it. Beat lightly.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the lemon zest and squeeze the lemon juice.
- 3
Step 3

Add the egg, juice, and lemon zest to the butter mixture and mix well.
- 4
Step 4

Now add the milk and mix.
- 5
Step 5

And finally, add the flour with the baking powder. Mix thoroughly until smooth. The dough should be thick, but not stiff.
- 6
Step 6

Grease the cake pop mold with oil.
- 7
Step 7

And distribute the dough into the cells.
- 8
Step 8

Close the lid and bake until golden brown. These beautiful balls are obtained—16 pieces from one portion of dough.
- 9
Step 9

If you don't have a mold for baking such balls, crush cookies or sponge cake into crumbs, then mix with your favorite cream or condensed milk. The mixture should be thick enough to shape into balls.
- 10
Step 10

With wet hands, roll the sweet mixture into balls (about 3 cm in diameter).
- 11
Step 11

Place the balls on parchment paper and put them in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
- 12
Step 12

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler with the addition of milk.
- 13
Step 13

With sticks, poke a hole (1 cm deep) in the sweet ball, on which our pastries will be held.
- 14
Step 14

Then dip the stick into melted chocolate and insert it back into the hole in the pastry. Repeat with all the balls. Place them upright on parchment paper and put them back into the refrigerator to set.
- 15
Step 15

Then dip the pastries into the chocolate, letting the excess drip off.
- 16
Step 16

And sprinkle with decorative sprinkles. You can stick them with a stick into a piece of foam to dry, or place the balls into paper cups or wrappers.
- 17
Step 17

That's it, our cake pops are ready!
