
Kefta tagine
Description
Tagine keeps the dish warm for a long time. Serve it warm. You can eat it with flatbread or a spoon. It can be served with a side of boiled rice or any other side dish. If you want to try something new but don't feel like spending too much time in the kitchen, then prepare lunch using this recipe.

Grind the lamb into minced meat (chop the meat using a meat grinder or a knife).

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic clove. Wash and chop the cilantro. Add everything to the minced meat and mix well.

Peel and chop the onion for frying. Coarsely chop the washed and peeled tomatoes. Rinse and finely chop the green onions.

Heat the tagine pan with oil and add the onion, cooking until soft. Add the tomatoes, green onions, turmeric, cumin, black pepper, salt, and sugar to taste. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Form medium-sized balls from the minced meat, place them in a pan, cover with a lid again, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Then carefully break the eggs into the pan, cover with a lid, and let the yolks set slightly.

You can garnish the dish with parsley and cilantro. Be sure to serve it with flatbread.
