Description

Homemade pastry for tea. Katlama is a pastry made from unleavened dough with various fillings. This type of pastry belongs to the cuisines of Eastern peoples such as Tatars, Nogais, Uzbeks. Previously it was a flatbread that was layered with rendered fat and different fillings. Today I offer you to make its sweet version. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Sprinkle the poppy seeds onto the pan and sauté over low heat for 5 minutes. Cool and mix with sugar.
