
Pumpkin diet porridge
Description

Prepare all the ingredients. Peel the pumpkin and remove the pulp.

Rinse the millet well and pour boiling water over it to remove the bitterness. Let it sit for a few minutes, then drain the water and rinse again. Transfer the rinsed millet to a saucepan in which you will cook the porridge.

Add milk and water in equal proportions. Mix, bring to a boil, and cook the porridge over low heat until done, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cut the pumpkin into small pieces and microwave on high power for 5 minutes. Stir and cook for another 5 minutes, or until the pumpkin is soft. Cooking time depends on the microwave's power and the type of pumpkin.

Purée the pumpkin using an immersion blender.

Add pumpkin puree and honey to taste to the ready porridge. Honey can be omitted or replaced with a sweetener if desired.
