Description

The recipe won't take much time. Barley porridge was highly respected in Russia and was even served at the Tsar's table. Nowadays, however, this porridge has somewhat fallen out of favor. The reason is that people believe it's too much trouble: soaking, rinsing, boiling, and rinsing again. I offer you a simple recipe. Serve hot.
