Mushy buckwheat porridge
Description
I want to tell you right away that buckwheat porridge turns out much tastier when cooked in a multicooker. Plus, you won't need to monitor the process or worry about the milk boiling over. If you're cooking on the stove, feel free to use half milk and half water.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1
The process itself is extremely simple. First, rinse the grain several times under running water.
- 2
Step 2
Place it at the bottom of the multicooker bowl. Add a little salt and sugar to taste. I recommend adding a little sugar while cooking, and you can sweeten the ready porridge more to your liking.
- 3
Step 3
For flavor, add a pinch of vanilla or cinnamon, for example.
- 4
Step 4
Pour in the milk. It is the relatively large amount of milk that will make the porridge creamy.
- 5
Step 5
Close the lid and set the "Porridge on milk" mode or its equivalent available in your multicooker. The time depends on the specific model and power of the appliance. On average, the process takes from 20 to 40 minutes.

Step 6
Here's such a simple version. After cooking, leave the porridge in the bowl for another 10 minutes. Before serving, you can add a piece of butter to the porridge.
