Potato pie with three fillings
Description
Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. This pie is very filling, with a generous amount of filling (and the potato dough itself is just as delicious as the filling), so it's enough to feed not only your whole family but also friends who drop by drawn by the inviting aroma. Of course, you can prepare this pie with one or two fillings, but I highly recommend trying the full version—it will be extremely, incredibly delicious. Serve with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. First, peel the potatoes, cut them into small pieces, and boil in slightly salted water. At the same time, hard-boil 3 eggs.
- 2
Step 2

Finely chop half of the onion and celery and add to a frying pan with a small amount of oil. Sauté lightly until the onion begins to soften.
- 3
Step 3

Then add the cleaned and sliced mushrooms and sauté over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the mushrooms are cooked through.
- 4
Step 4

In a separate skillet, first sauté the second half of the finely chopped onion, then add the ground meat and cook, stirring frequently, until done. Remember to season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Finely chop the hard-boiled eggs or grate them on a coarse grater. Finely chop the green onions (you can use more or less) and mix with the eggs.
- 6
Step 6

Meanwhile, the potatoes will have boiled. While still hot, drain the water and mash the potatoes into a puree together with a piece of butter. Then add 1 or 2 eggs and mix well. Now, depending on the consistency, add half of the flour first and mix. If the puree is still too runny (which depends on the potato variety), add more flour. However, I don't recommend adding too much flour—the less you use, the tastier the pie will be.

Step 7

Place about 2/3 of the potatoes into a greased baking dish, spreading them out and forming edges along the sides. In the center, add all three fillings: first the mushrooms, then the eggs, and finally the meat.
- 8
Step 8

Top with the remaining mashed potatoes. Brush with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 25-30 minutes, until a beautiful golden crust forms on the surface.

Potato pie with three fillings is ready!
