
Potato pie with sauce

1. Peel and dice the potatoes. Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 13–15 minutes, until the potatoes are easily pierced with a fork. Drain the water and transfer the potatoes to a bowl. Add butter, salt, pepper, and garlic salt, and mix. You can beat with a mixer. Gradually add milk and stir until creamy. Add seasonings to taste and set aside.

2. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Finely chop the onion. Sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add chopped garlic, beef, salt, and pepper; cook until the beef is browned. Stir in the green beans, then reduce the heat to low.

3. Prepare the sauce. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Mix in flour, salt, and pepper, then slowly add broth. Add the sauce to the meat mixture, stir well, and transfer to a baking dish.
