Potato balls
Description
For potato balls, I recommend using boiled potatoes in their skins or mashed potatoes; then the balls will fry quickly in the deep fryer, crisp on the outside and soft inside. These balls turn out very tasty and original if you add a filling: a piece of mushroom, a shrimp, or grilled vegetables. I really like this version. Serve with herbs and sauce.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the potatoes in advance until tender in their skins.

Grate the potatoes on a medium grater, add salt, egg, flour, and grated cheese.
- 3
Step 3

Mix everything until the mixture is homogeneous.
- 4
Step 4

From the potato dough, shape small balls and roll them in breadcrumbs. While you shape the balls, pour sunflower oil into a small saucepan and set it over the heat.
- 5

Deep-fry the potato balls until golden brown. Place the cooked balls on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- 6
