
Potato pancakes made from mashed potatoes
Description
Perfect for tea and coffee. A quick way to make potato pancakes from mashed potatoes using this recipe. If you already have mashed potatoes, this dish will take you only 20 minutes. Add an egg, cheese, flour, salt, and spices to taste, then coat in flour and fry on both sides until golden brown. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.

1. Whenever I have leftover mashed potatoes, I always make pancakes from them. If you just want to prepare a snack, boil the mashed potatoes and add the remaining ingredients.

2. Add the cheese (grated on a medium grater), egg, flour, salt, and spices to taste. Mix until the mixture becomes uniform.

3. After kneading the "dough", form small balls. Then flatten each ball and coat both sides in flour.

4. You can also coat in breadcrumbs, but flour has been tested (tastier). Transfer to a frying pan and fry in vegetable oil.
