
Potato cutlets in a multicooker

Step 1

Pour purified drinking water into the multicooker bowl. Wash the potatoes, peel them, and cut into medium-sized pieces of arbitrary shape. Put the potatoes into the water, salt it beforehand, set the "Cooking" mode, and cook the potatoes until fully done.

In a small frying pan, pour a little odorless vegetable oil and heat it over medium heat. Peel and finely chop the onion. Place it in the pan and sauté until translucent. Mash the cooked potatoes with a potato masher. Add the fried onion to the mashed potatoes.

Beat a raw chicken egg into the mashed potato mixture with onion. Then add any seasonings and spices to taste. You can finely chop dill or any other herbs and add them to the potatoes as well. Thoroughly mix all the ingredients.

Transfer the mashed potatoes to a separate dish and wash the multicooker bowl. Pour a little vegetable oil into it and heat in "Frying" mode. Shape the potatoes into patties with your hands and place them into the multicooker bowl. Fry the patties for several minutes on each side until golden brown.
