
Potato pancakes
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Making potato pancakes is as easy as can be. Grate the potatoes and finely chop the onion and garlic. Mix the vegetables, add beaten egg, salt and pepper, then fry in oil until golden brown. Serve potato pancakes with sour cream or a sauce made of sour cream, cottage cheese, and chopped herbs. The dish is ready. Serve hot.

1. Peel and wash the potatoes. Peel the onion and finely chop it. Peel the garlic.

2. Grate the potatoes on a fine grater. If you have a food processor with the appropriate attachment, use it!

3. Grate the garlic on the same grater. In a bowl, mix the chopped onion, grated garlic, and potato. In the same bowl, beat the egg with a whisk or fork.

4. Add the beaten egg to the bowl with vegetables. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.

5. Pour several tablespoons of vegetable oil into a skillet. Heat the stove to medium-high. Spoon the batter into the skillet and spread it into a pancake shape (use two spoons of batter per pancake). Fry the potato pancakes for 5 minutes on each side.

6. Place the finished potato pancakes on a layer of paper towels to remove excess oil, then transfer them to individual serving plates. Serve the potato pancakes with sour cream.
